California Aviation Detailing Co. Policies & Service Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm all appointments. No service date is secured until the deposit is received and cleared.
  • The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the service, prior to aircraft release or delivery of final photos/documentation.
  • Small services ($1,500 or less) may require full payment upfront at the time of booking.
  • Large or multi-day projects ($5,000+) may follow a 40% / 40% / 20% payment structure:
    • 40% deposit
    • 40% on the first day of service
    • 20% upon completion
  • Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, ACH, wire transfer, Zelle, or check (checks accepted for approved corporate clients only).
  • All invoices are subject to a 5% late fee per week if payment is not received within three (3) business days of service completion.
  • Service dates are confirmed only after deposit clearance.
  • Due to the nature of aircraft detailing services, all payments and deposits are non-refundable.
  • Once time, labor, materials, and resources are allocated, the service slot cannot be reassigned.
  • Deposits may be transferred one (1) time to a future date with proper notice (see Cancellation Policy).
  • Refunds are not issued for dissatisfaction resulting from conditions outside our control, including but not limited to oxidation, prior damage, material wear, or environmental contamination.
  • We guarantee professional workmanship using premium, aviation-safe products, though results may vary based on aircraft condition.
  • More than 72 hours (3 days) notice: Deposit may be transferred to a new service date within 30 days.
  • Within 72 hours: Deposit is forfeited.
  • No-shows or failure to provide aircraft access: Client is responsible for the full remaining balance.
  • Weather-related delays are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If conditions prevent safe work (rain, high winds, etc.), services will be rescheduled without penalty.
  • Same-day or last-minute requests are subject to availability and may incur a 20–30% rush fee depending on staffing, logistics, and travel requirements.
  • Restricted airport access, security clearance, or FBO coordination must be confirmed in advance.
  • If California Aviation Detailing Co. must adjust a scheduled appointment due to logistics, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice will be provided along with the next available service date.
  • A pre-service inspection is conducted prior to detailing, with condition documented via photos, notes, or video.
  • Additional charges may apply for heavy oxidation, corrosion, oil buildup, biohazards, or restoration-level work.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to paint, brightwork, coatings, or interior materials.
  • Clients must ensure proper aircraft access and clearance before service begins.
  • California Aviation Detailing Co. is fully insured for mobile aircraft detailing and ground operations.
  • Every precaution is taken to protect aircraft, hangar space, and surrounding property.
  • Only aviation-approved products are used in accordance with FAA and OEM guidelines.
  • We are not liable for damages caused by defective aircraft components, hangar conditions, or interference by unauthorized personnel during service.
  • All services comply with local airport regulations, environmental requirements, and stormwater management policies.
  • We utilize biodegradable, aviation-safe, water-efficient methods whenever applicable.
  • Any airport access, environmental, or facility fees will be clearly itemized on invoices.
  • All services are by appointment only.
  • Travel fees may apply for airports or facilities outside our primary service areas.
  • Travel fees typically range from $50–$150, depending on distance, airport access, and security requirements.

To ensure smooth service, clients must:

  • Provide clear hangar or ramp access at the scheduled time
  • Remove personal items and valuables from the aircraft interior
  • Provide electrical access or notify us if unavailable
  • Inform us of any special coatings, materials, or aircraft sensitivities
  • Ensure fueling or maintenance is completed prior to our arrival
  • Our objective is to exceed expectations on every aircraft.
  • Clients are encouraged to inspect the aircraft upon completion.
  • Any concerns must be addressed before aircraft departure to allow immediate correction.
  • Once the aircraft leaves our care, the service is considered complete and accepted.
  • Client privacy is respected at all times.
  • Photos and videos may be taken for documentation purposes.
  • Media is used for marketing only with client consent.
  • All scheduling, quotes, and confirmations are handled through official California Aviation Detailing Co. communication channels (phone, text, or email).
  • We value professionalism, clarity, and respectful communication.
